can you help me find some good hair care products/prom hair help.

well, i used to relax my hair, but my hair got so damaged my mom stopped relaxing it. she said my hair needed a time to be chemical free and after 3 months or so she would re-relax it. well, nobody knew that i would like my hair in its natural state (its been about 5 months now, with my mom and sister begging me to relax my hair again but there is no straight left on my hair and i love it this way), because it is thicker and i can wash it myself and go swimming without worrying about getting it wet b-cuz i`d end up looking like a wet dog afterwards etc. but now i don`t know what to wash it with so the curls will show themselves. see, my hair is "nappy" or "afro hair" or w/e, but when my hair is wet most of it curls up together and it looks really good. now does anybody know of a shampoo that is made for my kind of hair and will conditition and moisturize it so it will curl and look pretty? most of the products out there are made for (no offense) white people or hispanic people or asian people and other people with relatively easy to manage hair that (usually) doesn`t have as much moisture problems as most black people hair. or at least my hair or whatever. well if anybody even has any suggestions please reply, and if you have any ideas for prom hairstyles that don`t include relaxing my hair or putting in weave then i`d appreciate those, too. i want to blow dry my hair (i have alberto VO5`s "straight hair" and you blow dry your hair with it, it works pretty good, too) then flat iron it. what to do after that is beyond me, so please help me!
