teenagers Boys with long hair

hi, i`m am a african 14 year old boy that has hair that`s almost
in the middle of my back now! i have been growing
it only about twos years now. anyway i was just wondering what can i put in my hair that make
it soft?. I MEAN REALLY SOFT! because i`m geting sick of wearing my hair in braids and would like to
try some else! there a dude in my school that wear his hair different every 2 days! i mean, he has a hair style like a pony tail on the side of ths right side of his hair and his the left sidel.

kevin is your hair permed? if so i know that using k7 oil moisturizer after you shampoo and wrapping your hair will keep it soft. I know gel softens my hair too but that would look too girly on you lol
