HELP
Ok, my mother and I must be the only 2 people on Earth who have seen no results from WGHO!! My mother has natural (unrelaxed)short hair, and I have relaxed long hair. I bought us both bottles at the same time, and neither on of us saw good results...actually NO results! I`m not sure if we weren`t using it properly or what...but I don`t see all the hype about it! I would loooove to know if anyone else has had little-no results! I am going to try using it again...hopefully, things will improve!

Okay, I can`t give any advice here, because I`m giving up on the stuff myself. Not because I haven`t seen in super results (I haven`t), but because I hate the smell. I mean goodness! The stuff smells as old as it looks (did they send you that old, fake newspaper?). But on a serious note, how often did you use it?? They say if you use it too often, it could hinder growth.

Hi,
Personally, I like Wild Growth. I`ve been using it for three weeks now, and I have noticed growth. But what I like best is the overall condition of my hair. My ends aren`t dry any more! You can feel the moisture in my hair, but it doesn`t feel greasy. I don`t use it every day though. I use it when I need it. I put on my hair after I wash it but before I dry it.
I know, I hated the smell too, but you can add a few drops of lavender oil, to make it smell better. And apply it at night so by the morning the heavy smell is gone. Stick with it. Pure castor oil stinks worse, and that stuff is excellent for hair. I like Wild Growth cause it is made with natural ingredients, such as olive oil, which is excellent for the hair.
It can also take some people longer to see results from products.

P.S. I have also been taking vitamins.

Hi Rabia.

I have tried putting it on at night. But when I am out and about the next day, I begin to smell it. It isn`t as strong as when I first put it on, but it an irritating smell and it makes me afraid that others will notice it, especially when I am crowded on the subways to and from work. That`s why I can`t use it too much. I am going to finish up my bottle and the one my mother has, because twenty dollars for both of those things are pretty high. Shooo... Actually castor oil is really a growth spurter and the kind made by Hollywood Beauty doesn`t smell not one bit. I have not the slightest clue where to buy lavender oil, and besides, I shouldn`t have to try to cover up the smell of something I put on my hair. That`s too much unnecessary work.

What kind of vitamins do you take??? Multi-supplements, or those kind specifically for hair?

Hi Karonica,
You can buy lavender oil in any health food shop, the Vitamin Shoppe also sells it. You just add a few drops to the oil.
After reading different threads, conversing with people on this website and speaking to a nutritionist I decided on using:
-Ultra Nourishair, by GNC
-2000mg of MSM
-500mg of Silica
-1000mg of Flax Seed Oil
-1300mg of Evening Primrose
-1200mg of Biotin
-Especially for Women (multivitamin) from the
Vitamin Shoppe.
Note that Ultra Nourishair is a hair multivitamin and contains some of the vitamins that I take separately. So far I have not had any problems. I like the overall improvement in the condition of my hair, thus far, I`ve only been using them for three weeks.

I do recommend doing a lot of research before you start taking vitamins. From what I researched on each of these vitamins, and from people`s personal experience, the vitamins seem to help, and so far it has helped me. Do some searches on the internet and on this website for more info. Good luck!

The only reason I like the wild growth oil is because it makes you hair soft. I've been using it since April and my hair hasn't grown any different from when I wasn't using it.

I've heard that mixing MSM powder with the oil increases its results. I have bought the wild growth before but discontinued it the same day I got it. Although it made my hair soft, the smell was terrible, made my hair stink, and I broke out, scratching and itching for 3 days straight. What a nightmare.

WGO will not make your hair grow. You cant believe everything you see and hear. I have tried it and it dose make your hair softer, but i had to stop using it cause it stinks.

Hi, I am from the Caribbean. I have used WGHO on myself and my daughter. My daughter has long natural thick hair and My hair is comparatively short and relaxed.
My daughter has seen excellent results her hair has grown at least 6 inches in lenght and is no down to her waist.
My hair on the other hand had no results for a long while and then I realised I needed to spend more time with my hair. I wear my hair in PROTECTIVE HAIR STYLES. Since I live in the Caribbean and its a Tropical Climate I make sure my ends are never exposed. Air dries out hair especially the ends. However you comb your hair make sure your ends aren't exposed. Use the wild growth initially every day and then reduce the use to 3 times a week and don't use it for everything like steaming. Though it is a good hair softner I am not impressed with it as a hot oil. Don't over brush or comb your hair. Brushing your hair 100 times before be only damages your hair. Comb you hair in about four buns before bed and ensure that your ends are always moisturized.
I am getting results now and I am happy. My hair has grown 4 inches, which I attribute to WGHO and 2 which is naural growth.
Good Luck! and Give the product more than a month.
