Does anyone have a really good weekly hair care regime to follow, for growing longer, healthier hair?

Conditoning rinses are good what are YOU personally looking for in a regime?. Are you natural or relaxed?. Is your hair dry? is it damaged?. More info would be good then someone might be able to help you

I`m natural and I wet my hair everyday I wash every other day and do conditoning washes in the middle. On the days that I wash I rinse with Apple cider vinegar. I only comb once a week when I do deep conditioning treatments. I alternate the deep condition between a protein conditioner (Aubrey GPB) and a moisturizing conditioner (Redken heavy cream).

thanks for responding..... Your advice seems really good.

My hair is however relaxed, and although it is fairly healthy, full of body and shine I can`t seem to get it to grow. Currently it is about neck length and I would really like for it to grow at least to my shoulders.

For the past month I have stopped applying heat to my hair and instead I have been roller setting it... but, I would really like some tips or advice on a weekly hair care regime that can help promote healthy hair growth for relaxed hair.

Thanks

If you go back a couple of pages on this board and find a post that says pictures you can get some good info from this poster. Her screen name is Carmela she has beautiful hair and she is relaxed. You can get some great info from her. Keeping the heat off your hair will really help with growing your hair. Check out Carmela post I think it might help you.

1) Wash hair about 1-2x a week with Arosci Moisturizing Shampoo or Aubrey`s Shampoo
2) Deep Condition with Motions CPR Protein Conditioner or Ultra Black hair Protein Conditioner. Leave on for 30 minutes under dryer.
3) Follow with Mizani Moisturefuse or DPR11 Remoisturizing Conditioner. Leave on hair for 5-15 minutes, no heat.
4) Follow with Arosci Leave in Treatment Conditioner and roller set hair.

After this, my hair is soo moisturized for days that I generally don`t have to apply anything on hair for shine or moisture.

I take for Vitamins:
Biotin 5mg
MSM 1700mg
Evening Primrose Oil 500mg
Flax Seed Oil 500mg
GNC`s NourishHair
Silica - 500mg
Vitamin shoppes one a day.

My hair grows about 1" per month and it reaches my bra strap.

GrowingHair,

thanks for your tips.

How do you style your hair after washing....

and how do you wear it daily????

One more Question... how long did it take to reach your current length?

After roller setting my hair, I wrap my hair and wear it down.

It took me about 6 months to get my hair here.
