Hey i`m new to the board and find it really helpful and informative but i was just wondering what products people use to take care of their hair

I have relaxed hair thats about at the back of my neck..i`ve been trying to grow it for a while but its not doing as well as i think it could...its damaged, thin and dry. I use herbal essences fruit fusions hydrating shampoo with replenish moisture and shine..for dry and damaged hair.

And i use Lustrasilk Cholesterol Creme conditioner, which is supposed to leave my hair easy to manage and shiny . Which it does for a few days

I use DAX hair oil but I try not to oil my hair too much tho i find that in the end i end up using it anyway when my hair is looking dull or is misbehaving.

I wrap my hair every night with a skull cap a bandana and a stocking lol yep all three, i just read about this silk scarves so i`ll be switching to that. As far as heat i curl my hair about once a week and i dont use hood dryers anymore only because it takes too long i just wrap my hair and tie it up.

And i`m very interested in the vitamins i`ve read so far about MSM and Biotin what other products would you recommend to promote healthy hair and hair growth.

This is all really long but thanks for reading :)
Not so sweet honey...

Have you thought of rinsing your hair on a regular basis. If you add some glycerine to distilled water and pour it over your hair, wrap your hair in a towel to soak up the excess water and style very simply. You will find that you have less brerakage. Because our hair is the driest, it is best to rinse your hair on a regular basis. Also the other things you are doing is fine too. You should continue rinse it for at least a month.
Get a good hair vitamin, such as Hair Formula 37, Hairtopia, also 5mg of Biotin, Flaxseed oil, vit E, Evening Primrose oil, it all good for the skin and hair.
