You need to add moisturize to your hair if its just dry and/or frizz. I would try using Mizani Moisturefuse or Mizani Hydrafuse Conditioner. Sit under the dryer for 25 minutes with this.

Rinse and follow with a setting lotion/leave in conditioner or wrap lotion which doesn`t contain alcohol, mineral oil, petroleum or lanolin. use essential oils on your hair. Wildgrowth is great.

Additionally, when you shampoo, don`t use a shampoo which contain sulfates. Sulfates strip the hair.

Try a hot oil treatment as well before you shampoo. Pure Coconut Oil or Olive Oil should work great.

yeah i use Lustrasilk`s Moisture (i`ve forgot what its exactely called) - but basically its like a leave-in conditioner, but also like a moisturiser for your hair - it`s brilliant :D

try it, and also, regular deep conditioning - maybe try a carrot or mayonnaise deep conditioning treatment... (forgot their names too lol, sorry)

and try not to use heat stylers anymore :)

goodluck! :)

Mizani Moisturefuse is an excellent conditioner. I`m Caucasian but have dry hair and this product does wonders. It smells kind of strange but if you can get over the scent you might really have some luck.

You shouldn't use products with mineral oil because mineral oil and petroleum clog your pores and prohibit growth.

My advice is to trim off any dead hair that you may have, then ends are usually the most damaged part of your hair.

For damaged hair, monthy protein treatments are very helpful. Aphogee has a very good reconstrutor. They also have a treatment for damaged hair, but I don't recommend using that once a month unless your hair is damaged to the extreme. Once every 3 or 4 months is good. Make sure to deep condition with a moisturizing conditioner afterwards.

Deep condition with a moisturizing conditioner at least once a week. Mizani, as mentioned before has good conditioners, also Keracare and Nexxus. Some other good brands of conditioners are Cream of Nature (with the purple label), Elasta QP and motions.

Use leave in conditioners and natural (plant derived) oils. Don't use products with drying alcohols in them. Use gentle shampoos and only use harsh clearifying shampoos 1-2 times per month.

Limit or even stop using heat altogether. If you use heat, try using indirect heat (a dome dryer) instead of flat irons, curling irons and blowdryers.
