I used to use it - it's mainly mineral oil, and my hair didn't seem to absorb it properly. It sort of sat on the surface and coated it - icky. It's no good unless your hair is *very* dry.

I've used Pink Oil for years. I've tried everything else, and I always go back. Moisture Maxx is too heavy, and some of the others are too watery. You can't hot curl right after those. But w/ Pink Oil, you can put it on and hot curl right away. Also good for roller sets on dry hair w/ setting lotion when you don't feel like shampooing and wet setting.

I have used pink oil moisturizer for a few years. I get lots of compliments a lot ( I have curly hair) and women asking what I did to it. It feels great, and I haven't noticed hair hardening or thickening (there's got to be something else doing that). The only thing is that when you put it on, it can still appear pink in your hair if it is too wet. It doesn't dry that color.

I use it...I too have tried other products but go back b/c it's not too greasy but not too watery...add a couple drops of olive oil to the bottle to combat the drying effects of mineral oil!

DO NOT USE PINK LOTION!! lol Trust me, its not good for your hair. For a while I was using it, and I thought it was actually doing something for me. But it wasnt. What it does is make you dependant on it. It really damages and dries out your hair, so when you put some on, it makes it nice and shiny for a couple of hours. When I was using it, I would always shed handfulls of hair everywhere I went. Wherever I'd go, I'd have a trail of hair following me. I stopped using it and I converted to oils. My hair has never been better and it doesnt shed anymore.

I don't use the lotion (have heard bad stuff about it) but their conditioner and hot oil treatments are really good. And their perms.

It's good to put on the length of your hair, but I wouldn't apply it to the scalp.
