I guess while I'm here I can ask a few.

1. Do you have a perm?
2. If so, how does your hair curl up so nicely when it's wet. For some reason I thought when you got a perm, you lose all curl.
3. I don't have a perm, but I would like to try to roller set my hair. Is that possibe?
4. When you roller set, do your edges and scalp get straight or just the rest of your hair? How do you roller set?

I'm African American with very fine, naturally curly hair, almost shoulder length. I would like to stop using my blow drier and FHI ceramic iron so much, and just roller set, but I don't want to get a perm. Im afraid my hair will break off if I get a perm.
