What products do you use on your hair when you flat iron it?

I've been trying to find a product. I usually just use something with heat protection in it when my hair is wet and like a serum while I'm doing it. I was searching for something though and I was going to get Charles Worthington flat iron spray because it has it in the name. But I heard that biosilk was really good so I was looking for that. Then i saw an ad in a magazine that matrix sleek.look has a new flat iron spray and I already use that line for the shampoo and conditioner and just everything so I'm thinking I'll try that.

My hair is pretty resilient to heat damage (it seems), so most of the time I just work a little carrot oil all over and that seems to work just fine.

I usually use EQP Mango Butter. But I think I might try that Matrix out.

Use a hair product with thermal protection that contains silicones[silicones end in the word methicone]which protects the hair from heat damage because it smooths and seals hair's cuticles layers.Overuse of silicones causes product buildup[residue].
