A clarifying shampoo may be effective in removing the coconut oil. I would suggest a mild one such as John Frieda Total Clarity Shampoo, because it removes build-up without totally stripping the hair. Be sure to follow with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. HTH!

ok guys you will not beleive it but I tried suave daily clarifying and it didn't work, I also tried dawn, lemon juice , and vinigar. Thier hair is still so oily. I washed their hair several times and it maybe made a little bitty impact. What eles does any one recommend?

I remove coconut oil from my hair by saturating it with conditioner and scrubbing well. It may take two changes of conditioner, but it works better (for me, at least) than shampoo.
Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?
