Hey everyone, I live right along the Beach on Lake Michigan, which is fabulous in the summer but brutal in the winter. (Today, we got an ice storm and tomorrow it's going to be -2 degrees.) I can't go for a walk without a hat. Is there a specific hat you can wear that doesn't pull at your hair. I don't wear my wool one anymore. THe last time, I stuffed my hair in a plastic bag and put the hat on top, but I need to find a winter hat thats not damaging. Any suggestions??

Yes, wear a silk scarf or line your hats with a silk fabric.
