Hey yall im switching from having a clean cut fade into the braids. i just wanted to know how do you keep your hair neat while the growin process is going? I go to church alot so how can i keep my afro neat when it starts to grow really big. Just sayin because thats what you have to go to when getting long hair.

thnx cmesweeet. How long does it take for da braid process? i heard it all depends on hair texture and genetics right?

Depending on who is braiding your hair and if they know what they are doing.

Don't let someone braid too tight, it can cause hair loss. Make sure to keep your hair moisturized even when braided and make sure to comb your hair with a wide tooth comb, DO NOT let someone braid your hair using a small, close tooth comb. Make sure they braid your hair with moisturizer in it or they can break your hair off.
