*Cut off Damaged hair. *Wash your hair at least once a week. *Healthy Diet. *Drink Plenty of Water. *Protect hair at night (w/ satin/silk scarf, bonnet, or pillowcase). * Use a leave in conditioner. *Use little or no heat when styling.
i totally agree with most of what you said. alot of people advocate the use of leave-ins, however i don't use one and i don't feel that it has hindered my nappy journey. I used Parnevue leave-in conditioner in the beginning of my journey but as my twa grew out - my hair no longer liked this product and i started doing conditioner washes and i have been doing them ever since.
Moisture is key. I advocate the use of hair butters and oils. I also advocate the use of baggies for moisture and protection of the ends. Scalp massage- vitamins- drinking water have all helped me as well.
Me and you, your cousin and your momma too rollin on da strip on bow's
