I would like to know how long they last and if you lose alot of hair when you take them out? Also how often can you wash the hair when it's in Kinky Twist? I know I ased alot of questions but I'm thinking about getting my hair done in the Spring.

I haven't had them but I know people who wore their kinky twists for 2 months. Also, I would think that most of the hair that u lose would be from shedding, since 50 to 100 strands shed a day, just imagine how many will shed in 2 months. You must remember to keep your hair moisturized and I read of people using sea breeze to wash their scalp while wearing them.

Sweet, said it all i think....

i put twists in my natural hair (w/o extensions, i havent tried them w/ extensions yet) and as long as i use Aveda Humectant to really lock the ends up....i'm good for weeks...the longest i've worn it is for a month, but i average about two weeks...because i dont like really washing my hair with them in just because my hair gets ALL out of control...lol

and i lose no real hair...just the normal shedding at most...honestly i think i shed less when i twist because then i'm not in my hair everyday.
