ever since i was a little kid ive wanted to have my ears permenently removed. they're not big or anything but i think i would look better without ears. i understand the ear canal is in your head so i would still be able to hear fine. is this possible and how much does it cost.

I wouldn't trust any surgeon who would agree to do this.

Whoever told you that does not understand what the outer ear is for. Its design to catch and amplify sounds that your ear canal would otherwise have a difficult time collecting. Your ability to hear well would be dramatically reduced without the outer ear, not to mention how sorry you'll be when you get older and start losing your natural hearing anyway. If you dislike your ears so much, tape them back.

well there is a procedure to pin your ears back but you'd probably go deaf w/o an outer ear

yea i know someone. he is out in africa, if you dont mind a bit of a trek? real casual setting, the dr. wears  one of those tarzan like flap skirt things....his staff has some interesting peircings...carry sticks...but they are nice, and i trust them
