Hey I just ordered the Remington wet-2-straight flatiron from drugstore.com and it had all positive reviews there. I was wondering if anyone has used it on really curly long hair. It was only $29.99 so I am a little weary about how well it works. Has anyone that has used it been able to try other wet to dry flat irons to compare the differences? I would greatly appreciate your advice.

I bought one a couple weeks ago. It's the first flatiron I've tried but I thought it worked great! It has heat settings for dry or wet hair so you can use it for either. It did make my hair perfectly straight and it is long, very thick and very curly. The only problem I had is that with my hair super straight, the ends stick out. I'm not sure what to do about that! But I did like the flatiron.

My sister brought her Remington Wet to Straight when she visited me this past weekend. I have long and spiral curly hair. She straightened my hair and it took a good 20 minutes but the results were awsome! My hair looks better than it ever did. I have a $300 flat iron that doesn't work as well - wish I knew about this product before I wasted all that money!

I've also used it and can't wait to buy more for fear of them discontinuing it.  I have very hard to manage hair and this iron works great.  It still takes a while for me to section my hair and I run the iron over each section a few times, but it's still less labor intensive than blowdrying (which used to take over an hour).  Plus my hair comes out MUCH straighter than any salon blowout ever did.  No damage to my hair either.  I use a leave in conditioner before straightening, also.  The sizzling was a bit scary at first, but the directions say to expect it.  I am a big fan!

I have heard about the Remington and want to buy it, is there any good product to put in hair that is a lil dry and needs body and shine.

Thanks in advance I am new to all this.
