For those of you who do not remember me, I am a natural light brown, lighted to a 613 blonde who has extreme breakage due to So-Cal fusion extensions. I am thinking about going back to my natural color to try to improve upon the condition and stop some of the breakage. Can shrinkies be colored while they are installed on your head. Where would you apply the color first? roots? Will the extension hair grab the color faster?
Yes to everything. Yes the extension hair will grab the colour and yes the shrinkies will grab the colour. I had a client that went to the hairdressers wanting to have a full head of blonde so I ordered 8oz of 613 for her, tipped it and so forth. She came to me on the Saturday morning and the hairdresser had only done a few blonde streaks around the top of her head. She said for me to install all the 613 anyway. She went home that night and it took 4 boxes of off the shelf brown dye but the hair took and the shrinkies x
