First off, all of you DIYers amaze me!  I wish I had the patience

Second, when you are installing hair, do you leave out hair in between rows, or do pretty much every hair?

If you're adding a lot of length or want a full look, I wouldn't leave any spaces between the rows or between the connections. If you're just adding some volume to already-long hair, leaving spaces is probably a good idea. So it depends. Assuming it's the former, particularly on the bottom rows, you should do all the hair; you may want to make the connections or rows a bit sparser on the top, though, so there isn't a definitive "line" where the extensions begin.

:)
