The hold wasnt as strong. It was still strong. Just not as much. The point is the waves look better and formed. (not all crooked and ish) Thats what counts for me.
Thanx man. u just gave me my best idea yet. ima make my own "super pomade". when it turns to liquid ima add cocoa butter and coconut oil and other good hair ish to it and freeze it. ill post results later
u kno i think theres a reason y deres isn't a reEL "SUPER" pomade........adding all that chemicals n ingrdeients together might not works as logical as u think.....they might cancel each other out n leaves u wit hair that doesn't benefit but instead is bein killed wit all that junk thats in it....but thats juss my opinion
im not gonna mix all kinds of pomades and stuff like that in it. ima just add moisturizers and stuff because the murrays kinda dries my hair out. see what i figured was, the only 3 indgredients of murrays are: Petrolatum, Mineral Oil, and Fragrance. most other pomades also contain these 3 ingredients if you check the label. but they also contain other moisterizers and vitamins, which murrays dont have. so i figured petrolatum and mineral oil (minus fragrance) are the base ingredients for most pomades. maybe people can experament on their own and find a combination better suited for their own hair.(murrays/pink oil combo maybe?) i aint gonna do it on the regular tho. just tryin somethin out. wouldnt try it on a new can tho
no u got me all wrong. i aint crazy now. i aint puttin dat ish in my head. ima use it on one of my homeboys and tell em its regular murrays an see what happens
results: it got waaaaay softer. felt oilier tho. now i got to find a ginea pig. im too scared to try it out myself first.
Mixing pomades will not make your hair fall out. The main ingredient in most pomades and hair greases is PETROLEUM....VASELINE. If anything mixing a pomade with a moisturizer will simplify your method at night. You'll only have to put in one thing. It's a great idea but I don't have an oven.
