So I started tonight. I have four rows in the back in now.
My husband did the heating with a conair flat iron. The bottom
two rows are 3/32" 2:1 polyolefin shrink tubing(not dual wall) with a
tiny dab of LG on the tips right before they go in. The next two
are just the tubing.
Tomorrow I switch to a couple of rows of Kristins with Docs heat clamp
(just did the tracking I will definitely get my order tomorrow).
Then a couple of rows of Docs with the heat clamp. Then I should
be high enough to switch from the limone hair to browns and I can try
some other combo.
So far the tubing that I used doesn't seem to have shrunk down as hard
as Kristin's shrinkies that I put ina as testers earlier this week.
Oh and I finally got batteries and started taking pics. When I get up tomorrow I'll figure out the hosting and post em.

Yeah I'm doing all PH 'limone' as an undercolor, and mahaghoni, kokos, kaffee, and peschwarz for the top.
I can't believe i let my husband go to sleep rather than stay up and
keep going. Of course there is that whole being at work and being
able to pay for this thing...
Oh, I can't wait to see. I imagine if you're putting a dab of LG on the
tip right before install, those shrinkies (regardless of brand) should
hold pretty well. I'd be surprised if you have a lot of slippage with
that technique, although one never knows.
Time to wake up hubbie and get to work, I think. Doesn't he know all the hair-board girls are waiting for the pics? LOL!
