I've heard coconut oil was good for a lot of stuff, like clearing out infections, losing weight, helping regulate thyroid, etc. but I haven't tried it yet. I'm having a hard time convincing myself it's a good idea to just eat oil like that -_- . Does drinking coconut juice have the same benefits? Still hard to justify, as I prefer not to drink many calories, but at least it would taste better. . .

coconut oil doesn't taste bad, and even if you can always replace other oils with it instead of just adding coconut oil. Its healthy for cooking than say vegetable or canola oil.
