I've picked up a wawa weave in light auburn wave and had a good look at it tonight. I like it alot. Having never applied a weave, I am curious...forgive my novice questions!

When cutting the weave to the length you want to apply, do the ends of the track need to be stiched or glued so as to not unravel?

I have the LG shampoo, glue, and remover. What is the average time you gals keep your weaves in that is safe and comfortable?

After my open ended braids (which I will do tomorrow...I'll be sure and post pictures...as long as I'm successful, lol)...I have thought about trying a weave on myself. The Wawa appears to be lovely quality, I only ordered one weft to sample it. I think i will need at least another weft for a whole head, though.

My head is spinning from so many techniques...I think I am addicted.

I've bonded in wefts a few times, and I add a little glue to the ends of the cut weft to prevent unraveling. I usually use one weft, plus a little bit of a second one.

I've never used LG (only gummy, repugnant latex glue), but I've heard a Liquid Gold weave can last up to five weeks comfortably. That stuff holds!

Anyone gotten their 20" WaWa weave in the wavy from Vixenwigs? I'm still waiting and dying to know what it's like.

Just pulled my 20" wavy weave from the mailbox not 12 hours ago...  Nice feeling hair!  The curls are perfect hot roller curls that are pre-loaded with "spring."  This is very energetic hair.  Soft and sexy too.

I'm dying to dye it.  Has anyone else experimented with coloring the WaWa?

I got the 613 this time and would like to change it to a color other than olive green...

I'm delighted with the hair itself.  Nice stuff!

I got mine this morning! WOOHOOO! I am SOOO happy with WaWa I can't even tell you. GinaE had sent me some in body wave and I've been washing it every day, seeing how it holds up and it is doing FABULOUSLY! The wave doesn't fall at all unless you blowdry it. Even then, it still retains some wave. This stuff is so awesome. It's silky, shiny (but not too), and the texture is closer to my own, which is fine. It seems to hold up to lots of washing, doesn't get wonky, and is just, well, awesome. And it's $14.99. All I can say is, there IS a God.
I know the color selection is a prob for you fair-haired goddesses. In this order from Vixen, I got a 20" weft of 613 to do some dye testing. If it ends up taking dye well, our prayers are answered.
amm, did you order wavy from Carol? If not, I'll send you a length of this 613 so you can play with it.

Yup, stays bouncy and soft! If you get any tangles...I just misted w/ light weight shine oil, ran my fingers through it and scrunched! Viola

It's beleivable (to Human) like everyone else...I wish there was more of a color selection.
