Ayiioo i haven't got a cut in lik 4 weeks, so ima get it cut dis week. My question is the day in go in to get my haircut should my hair be layed down(durag) or so i just let it be out???

if its layed down dey gon have to cut against the grain prolly ya mean i recomend you wash ya hair real good get dat grease out clean ya hair real well and jus brush it b4 u go get ya cut when you come out youll get da best cut dat way

I don't think it matters. If your waves aren't that visible I would say durag it and let him comb it out. No pomade or grease either way you do it.

I AGREE WITH GIFT. YOU SHOULD GO TO THE BARBER WITH AS LESS POMADE AS POSSIBLE ALSO YOUR HAIR SHOULD NOT BE LAYED DOWN UNLESS YOU GOING FOR IT TO BE GRAZED AND LINED UP. FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE I CUT HAIR OFTEN AND THAT POMADE MAKES IT TOUGHER TO CUT ALSO THE BARBERS HERE CHARGE EXTRA 6.00$ FOR GREASY AND DIRTY HAIR.

i am glad you are here,this means when you get your hair cut in the opposite direction in which you brush.ex. top backwards, back up,sides back. do not get your hair cut against the grain(thats just me) anyhow read the the!! if u new read this first thread!
