Hi my problem is making my hair spiky. I want my hair to look like this guy (chester:linkin park) can u give me some advice, like the gel to use and the length of the hair.

thats easy champ, get ur hair to about  2 inches, go to a hairdresser and ask them to cut it in that spikey style, get sum gel or wax, (preferbaly wax cos it is less harsh on ur hair and holds better) spread evently in hair and just mess it up with ur hands up and down until u get that effect, ohh u need striaght hair for that spikey hair btw, so im assuming u got spikey hair,

my spikes r really messy, i like how hes spike goes backward, looks very organize. Do i spike my hair by geling my hair back first?

do u have a pic? cos a pic wud help

if you have messy spikes then try use some strong hold gel and yeh like u sed, put the gel evenly in ur hair and pull ur hair bak, then just move the hairs aroudn here n there and fix up the front and problem solved.

i wud also recommend hairspray after u spike ur hair, just for that extra bit of hold
