Hair Styling competitions HELP

We are a television production company and are interested in
covering all the glamor and spectacle of a hair style competition.

Can any fellow hairtalkers suggest some compettions that may be
fun to cover. We would also cover the competitors and them
practicing etc for the competition. It doesn't have to be the biggest
and the best competition as long as there are great hair styles, great
characters and lots of styles.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated. This is for a PBS documentary.
