Ashlee Simpson’s dark brown hair color?

I hope this is the right place to ask (I'm new here) but does anyone know what color of home hair dye Ashlee used when she first dyed her hair that dark chocolatey brown color?  I know she used a home dye the first time, and then started getting it professionally done.  Just curious as to what she used first!  I think I remember reading that she said it was one by Clairol, but I don't know which one specifically.  Thanks!

I always thought she looked better with dark hair. The black was a little overkill for me thow, I prefer the dark brown alot better. Hope she keeps it that way for a bit.
