I am 19 years old (ill be 20 in 2 weeks and wanted extensionson my new id so i look like a 20 year old and not a 12 year old anymore) and have thin short hair ever since I can rem. I am looking into getting hair extensions but I don't know much about them so i was hoping for some help!! When you take them out if your hair falls out because i have heard that a lot of your hair falls out.
I was also wondering what the method is called where they take extensions and use some kind of heating method to put them in your hair(dont know if i explained that right)?? Any other comments or info you can think of would help a lot!! Thanks!!

PLease see bridget your question is here and extensions 101. That should cover the basics.
As to yur hair falling out. you naturally lose ~100 hairs a
day. if they are trapped onyour head due to extensions they can't
fall out in your brush each day. then you take your extensions
out and now you can multiply by the number of days you've had the
extensions in and thats a lot of hair.
that said put in incorrectly, extensions can cause damage, taken out incorrectly they can cause even more damage.
