HELLO,i would just like to first say thank you to all you girls ,you have given me the confidence to break away from paying thousands of dollars ,and depending on dishonest stylist;any way,question; i am preparing to install 200 pretipped hair from EP,in colors 2,3,5,6,do i put the same color in each row or do i mix it up ,i would like a dark underlayer but i am clueless as to placement of other colors,any feeback would be helpful,thanks

If you tell us exactly what you want or may post apic of what you are going for it will be easier to answer.

however.  if your indiidual tips aren't blended, and you want an even overall color, you are going to have a bit of a hard time.  but mixing it up within each rown will certainly help.

I assume from your wording you have purchased the hair tipped.  you can try breaking up the tips and mxing them together but for a first try at blending i'm not so sure I'd reccomend that...

you know where you want things on your head right?  I mean same placement as your stylist would have used, unless you weren't happy with the results.

regarding placement.

What look are you going for, chunky weave, fine weave, bold, subtle? that will all take precidence in your placement of colors. Do you want the colors to pop or be more blended and natural?

please note, not all stylist are dishonest and want to charge you thousands of dollars. I am a very honest stylist and so are all the other stylist here that contribute to this board.

when i do my hair...and want to put in streaks that are well blended...I do this... like 2 tips of blonde in one shrinkie and then the next i put a blonde and brown and then the next a blonde and black togehter....but my overall color is blonde...BUT...it really helps...if you go back through the threads u can see wherei posted about my shrinkie install and what my color looks like.. :-)  Goodluck
