QuoteReplyTopic: have had all kinds:live in W LA:help! Posted: June 10 2005 at 10:53am
I have spent thousands and am an actress...I've gone to the infamous Piny in bev hills for weaving, Image by Kim Marie for individual Hairlocs, more weaving at his and Her Hair Goods on Wilshire, more hairlocs, eurolocs, etc etc.
I am free of anything in my hair right now...(just using clip in weft for auditions b/c headshots show longer )but saved all my hair, both weft-types and all individual little clusters from hairlocs which are very high quality and pretty!
I am 26 and not super rich.My hair is fine but also damaged as to many photo shoots for magazines and print..ughh!...as well as being on tv and movie sets and highlighted( I am trying to get it back to a healthier state)
Anyone on here willing to do my hair with hair that I have or not charge me more than maybe $350 cash this weekend?I am a very nice person and will be a very loyal client if you are good and treat me right!! hee hee
I just am so tired of being screwed over..it seems they always have too hook u with the" oh...well you HAVE TO buy the hair!!!!" even though I have all this fine Russian hair..
If you are good and work with me...then in the future..I will definitely BUY THE HAIR from you!!
U can come to me or vice versa!...I am right off the 10 in a condo on Ocean...
BTW..wha is this pich braid or other methods? would they work with my hair?
Sorry for the long post!

different things work for different people depending on how much damage they have, the texture of their hair, etc.
A pic of your current hair would help. But you're searching for someone right now so they'll see you soon enough.
I know Kristin (haircandy.net) is somewhere out in that neck of the
woods (forgive me i'm on the east coast so I don't know my greater LA
geography). Anyhow she does extentubes and fusion I'm pretty
sure, and extentubes are quite similar to hairlocs except most
people have less damage with them.
crap I know several people here are from california but Kristin is the
only on I'm sure is remorely near you and actually does this for a
living.
pinch braids are where the extension hair is braided into your natural
hair for ~1 inch and then tied off with string. Rae has a good
explanation on her site: hairalchemy.com . you'll have to
snoop a around a little find it.
Depending on what you are looking of rhtey could be great for you.
check out the 101 and Bridget threads at the top to learn a little more about the basics of the differnt methods.
Good luck, and send us some before and afters is you get the chance.
I highly recommend Tangles. I've chatted with her since Jan. 2005 in my Yahoo! hair extension specialists group. Her extensive contribution to the board, sounds like she's a very reliable, honest professional who won't rip you off. She even fixes bad hair extension jobs from other stylists!
I know that HairLocs and EuroLocs will certify a-n-y-b-o-d-y {including manicurists, waitresses, etc...} which is why I hear a lot of stories from disappointed clients {I've been certified with Blond & Braun in Easy Hair now known as 'Euro Locs' since 1996 so I remember}, but Tangles is a licensed hair stylist!
