This is the threder I use for shrinks and links. The black one is from euro locks the gold one I bought not to long ago from short to long. I put about 25 shrinks on. and have 8 of them so I can thread all the shrink's and links ahead of time

How does it work?  Is there a latch hook at the tip like shorter threaders?

no hook, you section the hair and grab it through the wire loop keeping it close to the top of the strand  so you don't push up shorter hairs when threding. Pull the shrink up the wire . Hmmmm it's so easy, but so hard to explain I will have to see about making how to photo's no that I can!

I am a tard. I simply cannot get that thing to work without a hook or
latch on the end. marie, I can send it back to you since I can't seem
to master it. ::insert icon of confused face wearing dunce cap::

Those EZ Threaders came in yesterday. They're pretty cool. You load
up the tool, stick your hair through the loop and the shrinks and links
slip right on. WAY easier than a hook because it doesn't lose the hair.

**Only for board members -- If you want one, send $4 to
info@shrinkies.net and that covers the cost of the threader and
shipping. That also covers the paypal charge on my end and the
shipping I had to pay to get them to me. I'll mail them in a regular
envelope with postage because they're light as a feather. They are
approx 8-1/2 inches in length.

Amm it's the same thing!! that's how you use the wire put the sec tion of hair through the wire and push up the shrink. You need not send back add it to your colection and you never know you might need it some day how many shrinks do yours hold by the way?

How much are you going to charge non board members, such as myself?

I am working on a homemade gizmo, using an exacto knife and some wire.  Sounds pretty dangerous, but yes, I am taking the blade out!!

I didn't get it looking at the threader either but hold off and I can post a series of pictures that show how it's done. I won't get home until tomorrow and then I'll be crashed out all day. I should have something up by tomorrow night.
