Hello im usually posting on the hair extensions board but was
looking over at other forums and noticed some girls talking
about their hair being a 4A or 4B and so on , i just wanted to
know what this means? is it a color or length? thankss

The number and letter refer to the straightness/waviness/curliness of hair. 4a hair is super-tight corkscrew curly, 4b hair is so kinky that it is without a visible curl pattern.

In contrast, my hair is 1a/b, straight except for a 3" diameter wave at the very ends.


Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?

i am 4a/b. i believe my hair has both textures. Some people have up to 3 textures on their heads
