I need help on my hair.

Hi. I'm a girl, 18 years old, filipino  and I need advice on my hair. I have a pearshaped face and right now iam growing my hair out. My hair is very very thick and im not sure what kind of hairstyle would suit my face and the volume of my hair. Right now I have my hair a little bit below my shoulders and its layered.

Should I keep growing my hair out or should i cut it? If so what kind of haircut should i get?  Also, Is there anything i could do with taming my hair and making it look smoother and fine?
