I have naturally curley hair, but everytime I get my hair cut my curls dissappear for about 2-3 weeks until my hair grows back a bit. Any idea why it might be doing this?

I kept thinking maybe it's the cut that I am receiving that messing things up.

Btw, my hair is naturally curley and thick.

If anyone knows a good stylist around the Tampa/Clearwater, FL area please let me know.
