Hola,
I used L'oreal Hi-light Styliste in Toasted Almond this morning.
Awful. Looks so bad like a checker board when I did thin strands
like the website's video showed.
Very brassy and dry. Cannot walk outside the house like this so...
Question- Should I use the tone refiner (remember super brassy and too
blond some spots ugh), or color my whole head. And when can I color my
hair. Hubby comes back from Paris Wednesday and he cannot see my
horrible hair. I can see him laughing at me right now!
thanks.

Only color your whole head if you're sure you aren't going to want highlights before this grows out completely.
I think you should go to a salon and get it fixed. They can blend it in by selectively toning the highlights and giving you some more with strategic placement.
I never had highlights, but lots of women who do complain how dry they are when they are new.
Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?
