Hi everyone!
A few weeks ago I colored my hair dark red/brown and before that I had really light bleached hair.
The first time it turned out purple on the top and light brown in the
rest of the hair (the red wouldn't stick at all), this was with a
permanent color. The second time I tried with some permanent color
again, but no luck.
Just recently I put on a non permanent red/brown color which should
last 25 washes. And after 2 washes the problem is back, dark at the top
of my head and really light brown on the rest. Looks a mess.
What should I do? I want the darker color on top of my head to go lighter and match the rest of my hair.
Can i just bleach the top of my head and then try to color everything
in a light brown? I have never tried that before, i dont want to bleach
all of my hair because i don't want to damage it more.
My hair is relly thick, I just had a trim and my normal color is dark blond / light brown.

It sounds like the problem is your hair, not the dye products. Your hair is so porous from bleaching that it won't hold the dye, and each time you color it it becomes more porous.
What you should do is get it fixed professionally. All that permanent color is going to be really hard to get out, and you could do some real damage to your hair.
Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?

Yeah, cuz usually 20 or above is permanent and below that is semi/demi. They might have to strip the darker areas from ur hair to answer ur previous question, and instead of bleachingthey should use a color remover.

Thanks for you help! I will have to gather my strenth before i go to a
professional as i have only had bad experience with them.
No Im glad it was not feria as i have heard that they are impossible of
getting out. It was a color by loreal. Its funny, here in sweden you
can't find color remover in the shops. They tried selling them once a
long time ago but i dont think anyone bought them so now they are
impossible to find.

When hair gets porous from overprocessing, either a semi-permanent or a
"temporary" veggie dye are the most likely to stick. Most veggie
dyes (Special Effects, Manic Panic, etc.) may not come in colors you
want to use, but it is worth a look. They don't contribute to the
damage and generally last well on porous hair.

I think they can, but I think they won't do it unless you tell them about it. Why don't you buy the protein filler and apply it yourself, it's really easy. There's no need to pay somebody else to do this.
