Hi, just been watching Wimbledon and wondering how do I get my hair to look like this? The texture I mean, not really concerned about the style:

At the moment my hair is 5-6" long, thick and wavy. It goes dry and frizzy and looks ugly if I just come out of the shower and leave it. What I want is for it to to be kinda "stringy" and soft, almost wet looking, like in those pics.

Any ideas on products/techniques etc? I don't need the name of an exact product, just the type of product I need to use.

Thanks.

Looks like he is using Gel...

I had a long hair before and it looked like him, not straight and not curly. I used to mix gel with some creme (bumble grooming creme) towel dry for 5 min and I used my hand to style. Also it seems that he is using his cap to help his hair stays flat on top...

Interesting, thanks. Any other ideas? It's that "stringy" look I'm really after, my hair tends to separate into single strands whereas his looks more clumped together...

that may be cause he's sweating? when my hair was longer, it looked great when it was messy and i was sweating, cause the salt water gives it a damp very textured look..

Yeah, I realised that. I was just wondering if there were any products I could use to replicate that effect.

Here's a normal pic.. what could I use to get it like this?

a texture defining wax..

go to boots and get mark hill's texture defining wax...its quite pricey but has sea salt in it, which overall gives quite a good effect..

tell me what u think
