QuoteReplyTopic: Anyone willing to do my hair for money? Posted: July 01 2005 at 1:58pm
I just got back from a consultation at a Great Lengths salon here in Houston and she quoted me $1400 to do a full head. Man, there's just no way I can afford that and then again every 6 months for the upkeep. I am really wanting to do extensions and am looking for someone here in the Houston area, or within decent driving distance that could do my hair for a decent price. I'm not necessarily looking to do Great Lengths, but I know that I really don't want to do sew-in or glue in with a weft....you guys know way better than me what the best methods are. Is there anyone out there that would want to take me on as a client? I'm hoping for a price of no more than $500, less is better, of course....thanks guys!

Oh and you don't want to wait 6 months for upkeep on those great
lengths either. bad bad bad extensionist, you'll need upkeep about
every 2-3 months. but anyhow, I just checked there isn'ta
hair police affiliate near you...
I think Fina is from TX but I'm not sure where in TX. She may know someone who could help you out.
But most importantly don't wait 6 months between installs. It will look like crap and damage your hair.

There's also several Hairpolice affiliates in Austin- you can look them
up on hairpolice.com, and they do pinchbraids. (I dunno if that's
closer or farther than Fina- Texas is all unknown geography to me!)
