hey i was just wondering how to get my hair to stand striaght up if you know the band Motion city soundtrack the lead singer has the hair i wwant do i nto wahs it what products should i use please any help would be great

this is the hair

A friend of mine actually used to use toothpaste for that.  I'm no pro with styling, so I'm not sure how great this is going to work...you should practice with it when you aren't going anywhere.  But the trick is just to get enough goop in it so its too hard to fall down.  You can either:

1.  Hair gel it, blow dry it upside down with gel in it (then brush it out so it doesn't look wet...be careful here, too much gel can turn to a bunch of white flakes when you brush it out) then spray it upside down and let it dry like that.

2.  Try putting some toothpaste on your hands and rubbing it through it and see how that works.  I don't know exactly what my friend used to do to get his to stick straight up, but his was maximum 4 inches long on top, so it was probably kind of easy.  I don't think he used too much toothpaste to get the effect.  He may have also sprayed it with hairspray after.  You'll just have to try it to see what works best.

toothpate huh...

no more complains of bad hair breath and cavities on you hair

gel, blowdry and hair spray is definetly the way to go.
