my hair is just past my shoulders, and would anyone be able to tell me the average cost of getting the ends of my hair razored? i'd just like to know if it would be expensive for something like that. and if i wanted to get 2 layers at the back of my hair, would that cost a lot? i know these questions may seem stupid, but i just want to be prepared, since i don't have a lot of money.

A simple razoring shouldn't cost more than $20, but that's my opinion. I don't know what they're charging these days.

I would guess it would be different at different salons.  Try calling a few in your area and asking them the price for a razoring.

I dare say they'd charge your for the cost of a style cut even though you'd only be getting a little razoring done.   I'd ring up a few and ask.  Try visiting one of those cheaper salons where you don't need an appointment.

Or try somewhere that gets students or apprentice's to do the cutting.

Also, I dare say any hairdresser is going to be hesitant to just cut two layers in the back and razor a bit.  They'd want to make the rest of your hair match with layers and will try and talk to you about other options.  Have a listen to what they have to say, they know what they are talking about :)
