I cut my hair really short a couple months ago.  I used to have really smooth, naturally straight hair.  But whe I got it cut, it suddenly turned curly and really full and puffy.  Any explanation why?  Is there some way I can get it to be straight again without flat-ironing?

Was it long enough before that it could've been curly all along, and it was just the weight pulling it straight?

It's fine hair that is pulled straight by the weight, not coarse hair. So my hair looks straight when long, even though it was wavy when short.


Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?
