Thanks for all the help! I seem to be somewhere between a 2b and 2c without any frizz. I'm more of a thick 2b.

Silicones can cause buildup[residue]in hair.Silicones protect against hot flat irons and curling irons because silicones seal and smooth hair's cuticles layers.Please search and read other posts.
