QuoteReplyTopic: How would you achieve this style of Hair Posted: July 28 2005 at 5:36pm
I was wondering if you had the base hair for this style what products and what method in general would you have to use to achieve this style of hair. On a side note I was wondering if you belive that this style is too feminine for a male(I'm especially interested in a teen girls advice here, as would you go out with a teenage boy with hair like this)Thanks for listening.

I'd say rub a little texturizer or light pomade into just the top and ruff it up.Then work to bend the peices like in the picture.Maybe even flatiron from the ears down, unless you already have pin straight hair. As far as what people think of the hairstyle, some are going to hate this style(with a passion.)While others will love it,and probably want to run their hands through it.I believe its more about the person wearing it then the actual style. If you walk like you feel really good about yourself, people will notice. Its all about confidence.

Thanks for your advice longhairdreams. Sorry I took so long to relpy, I was away. What long hair style would you or anyone else here reccomend for a man/teen. I usually have had short hair in the past but have decided to have long hair and hopefully a good style of long hair or even mid lenght hair as the case may be. I really open to any suggestions. On this site there seem to be lots of long hair styles that look great, but I don't really know if any of them would be accepted in Europe. As for confidence that is something I have always lacked, even though I try to improve I never seem to make confidence cut so to speak, perhaps it's me and I have nothing to offer or perhaps I'm very shy either way I think your're point was very vaild and so it might be a good idea to avoid this style. Thanks for listening and I hope some of you can give me some advice. Thanks.

Everyone has something to offer.Lots of people are shy.My original point was, their will always be critics. No matter what you look like, they're will always be people who dont like what style of hair you have,or color.Sounds like you are your own worst critic though.I'm not going to tell you what hairstyle to wear, that would be rediculous. Its for you and you alone to decide. But A word of advice.Quit concentrating on what might not be right with you,and take note of what you like about yourself. And remember no matter what anyone tells you(media, friends, family, random people). Its not appearance that decides if your a good person or not,or worthwhile.Everyone feels awkward during their teen years.Confidence comes with time.

Thank you for your kind words, they meant a lot to me. I will try to be more positive form now on, sorry about that the other day. I was just looking for suggestions, I didn't know what style would really suit me so I was looking for suggestions, on what you and other people thought were the best 1 or 2 long/medium hair styles at the moment(for men/teens). Though I think I should have said a bit about my hair type first so here goes, my hair is just under shoulder lenght, it is somwhat a dark brown with some natural copper high(low?)lights so I guess you could say orban. It is thick and mostly straight bar the ends which curl up and out rather than in. Thanks for listening.

You will need to bleach. If you want highlights like this, you will have to make an appointment in advance with the salon. They won't have scheduled the time to do it if you called for a haircut. When you do make the appointment, ask how long it will take.
Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?
