Hi I have a question that has really been bugging me and I feel really stupid for asking it, but when your hair stylist asks you what side you part your hair on... well I read from George Michael's website that your hair at your hair line grows from left to right and so a right part is good for your hair... is that my right? I normally part it at my right side with the hair going left. It would probably help to state that I am left handed and have had directional issues most of my life! LOL

I personally try not to believe his theories. He could be right but the
problem is his theories discourage people from doing things that they
would be happier with.
If parting your hair your way is easier for you then I'd say stick with that.
If you follow his theories and then don't like your hair then that can
lead to added stress. That stress is worse than if you were doing the
opposite of his theory.
It all comes down to this. Do you want your hair to be your way or his way?
I see your point and I experiment with parts a lot, but my question has more to do with what we mean when we say my hair is parted on the right, or the left (center is a no brainer) lol as I said it is a stupid question!

never mind, I found out it is your right or left not the stylists. as far as george michael's theory, from what I understand he claims a right part gives more volume since it is opposite from the way the hair grows, but I think I have more volume when I part on the left, go figure!

I don't think that's a stupid question at all. I have to tell you, though, that my hair doesn't look more voluminous when I reverse-part it--it just makes me look like Elvis. Only the front of the part sticks up. Straight up. Not a look I feel I need to cultivate!
