How to Determine Hair Type

Hello.

I want to know what is the type of hair that i have. (oily/normal/dry)?

I have an oily facial skin. My hair is thin.

Can the nature of hair be different from that of the scalp? i.e a dry hair with oily scalp?

Please suggest ways so that i can determine the type of hair.. I have a haor fall problem and i want to use some peoducts to control it.. but i need to know what type of hair i have.
