When your new growth comes in, what do you use to keep it tamed from the beginning? Do you put something different on your newgrowth than your relaxed hair? Just curious.

I  don't/didn't use anything different.  SCurl works wonders for taming and moisturizing!

Lately, I have been useing a little oil (Hollywood Carrot Oil or L'Occitane Olive Hair Care Oil).  Mostly what makes a difference is that I use the right conditioner, one that works equally well on both textures.  I also wash & condition more frequetly when I have a lot of new growth, my hair is more elastic that way.  Oh, I use Phyto Nectar on my roots in a section of my hair that is more prone to breaking.  Seems to help (must be the protein).
