top- brush forward
-back brush dowwards
sides- brush forward downwards angle going towards yo eye
(pretty much da same as brushin down @ ah angle 2 ur ear)

dont use pomade inside da house.. just use pink oil and brush.. u can use da pomade if u wanna go out and wanna look fresh. .. als obrush till yo arm falls off.. and it takes longa den 1 or 2 weeks to see anything.

Don't detour from your brushing pattern.. As far as brushin all over.. whenever in whatever direction.. Brush in exactly a 360 motion and for your sides go in a foward/downward like motion.. If you are having difficulty w/ yours sides I advise you to hold your brush at an upward angle..

If u don't know what I'm talkin about.. ur just as confused as I just made myself...

Sounds like your talking about a double sided brush, like I have... one side hard, one side soft. If that's the case... I guess it depends on the texture of hair.. if you got extra nappy hair, use the hard side (if your scalp can take it), otherwise use the soft side.

But I'm a newbie still.. I don't wanna leave ignorant advice.. so can anybody else clarify on this? I just wanted to make sure it was understood u were talkin about the sides of the brush, and not the sides of your head.

nah.. ur proly right.. i'm no expert but from what i gathered... ur hair texture and the brush you use doesn't really matter ALL of the time. I say sometimes it's length .. softer brush lower length, higher length.. harder brush.. andfor the training process of waves.. i believe the harder brush should be used..
