Well I'm new here and I have been posting a little bit, but I've mostly been reading all the great information you guys have. I've decided that I want long hair for my graduation so I can wear it down unlike everyone else who will have the same curly updo. I've decided that I want to keep my hair as healthy as possible so I can have great hair for my grad and for when I enter the work force after school. Thanks to you all for all the information I've received.
I do have two questions though.
1) How long do you think my hair will grow in ten months?
2) What are some good shampoos I can get from a drugstore that are cheap? I live in a small town and don't get to the city very often.

Glad to hear you like it here, Heidi Lessee, answer to your questions...
1) About 5 inches. If your hair grows at the average rate.
How much longer your hair will be then also depends on if & how
much is trimmed during that time.
2) My favorite inexpensive shampoo is Clairol's Herbal Essences.
It's strong stuff; I always dilute shampoo in an empty shampoo bottle
and apply directly to wet scalp.
