Hi People,
I just wanted to know your opinions on the pros and cons of a wide tooth horn comb. I ditched my boars hairbrush months ago and I'am ONLY going wide tooth now.

That's great! I love my horn comb. The teeth aren't wide enough, but I've just put in an order for another two. Mine has teeth that are close enough for making small scratching motions on my scalp to exfoliate dead skin. The horn material lifts dead skin really well, it does a great job of distributing oil, and it does not produce static like the boar bristle does. The only con - horn combs should not be washed, nor used on wet hair. They also require monthly treatment with lanolin (any pure lanolin, can be bought from Mystify Your Senses or probably Mountain Rose Herbs)
Definitely have a gander at Heavenly Harvest if you're shopping for one. Theirs is 6 inches long and 4-5 tines per inch, which qualifies as wide-tooth. Debra is really wonderful.
