1.)
HAIR LENGTH: because our isnt nappy u must grow it out for ATLEAST a month to get results ....
the longer our hair the more curls we have for us to make into waves
... when gettin a cut ask for a dark caesar or a 2 WITH THE GRAIN (this
part is important cuz after that month ur waves may disappear
temporarily if they cut against the grain)
2.) BRUSHES: dependin
on how soft ones hair is use a medium diane or annies brush when ur
hair is shorter and a hard brush when hair is longer and if ur hair is
soft enough that u feel u can affectively brush u can use a soft brush
when hair is short and a medium when long
3.)POMADE: i
recommend using a light pomade such as sportin waves (my fav.) or 360
pomade to start out and train waves ... the heavier pomades such as
murrays and dax will jus flatten ur hair out
4.) WASHING:
after ur first cut and wavin the waves u have developed will most
likely fade ... but dont panic they'll come back as ur hair gets longer
again ... and its ok to wash ur hair all crazy wit wont hurt ne thing
5.) OTHER TIPS:
a. brushing in the shower can help ur pattern and train hair
b.brush
top forward, back downward, and sides diagnolly toward ears and
hairline/ brush in a cirular pattern from ur calic (sp) on the back of
ur head
c. one should always use sometype of moisterizer
d.
brush each side as evenily as possible, then concentrate most on the
difficult areas where it jus wont seem to wave later (everyone has or
had an area like this)
6.) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY BRUSH BRUSH BRUSH BRUSH, POMADE DOESNT GIVE U WAVES, ITS THE BRUSHIN
PS. this will not give u instant waves u must follow this advice, brush, and be patient ... u gotta earn them spinnas
