hi. im gettingmy hair bleached in a few weeks iv been about a year with my natural dark colour. question is is there anything i should do BEFORE i go to hairdressers. iv already had a consultation to make sure i wont have reaction to their products..

should i wash my hair jsut before i go and not put conditioner on? i heard this will aid in even application?

anything else?

i so want it tobe perfect. i totally forgot to ask this when i was at the consultation i was 2 busy stressin over tones

at sallys, half the people working there dont even know how to take care of their own hair... ive been bleaching my hair for almost 8 years and ive learned thru out. the natural oils in your hair help protect your scalp from the harsh chemicals in bleach. it helps your scalp by basically having those oils coat it so the bleach wont do all concentrated contact with your scalp..which is really good or else you have these cases where scalp irritation happends and you end up having to take the bleach off before its even done and you end up with disaster results or even worst in some ocassions. goodluck and i hope everything works out for you. if you need anything else just let me know. :P
